The Creek 6/10

Art Size 81 x 107cm I was flying over Gunn Point north east of Darwin and struggling for features in. this predominantly woodland area. The mangroves offer some form of change but unless the tide is low there isn’t much on offer. I had decided to call it a day when we then crossed over an area I hadn’t seen before. My eyes lit up, and I was away. I wasn’t too happy when Tim said we had a ceiling of 1000 feet but when he added that we were in the flight path for Darwin airport I had visions of a 737 turning us into matchsticks! We flew around for a bit and I settled on this area. Deciding where to put the creek was the hard part but I went with what looked right to me and captured this.
